Does Access Manager 2.0 work on Windows 10?

Yes it does, we have tried and tested Access Manager on Windows 10 without any major issues.

There have been some reports of Access Manager not starting.

The solution is to delete the AccessManager.cfg and/or the AccessManager.config file. The file is located in one or more of the following folders:

C:\Users\’MyUserName’\AppData\Local\Citi-Software\Access Manager 2\
C:\Program Files\Citi-Software\Access Manager 2\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Citi-Software\Access Manager 2\
C:\Users\’MyUserName’\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Citi-Software\Access Manager 2\

Use Windows Explorer to search for and delete all copies of the configuration file. This file will be re-created next time you start Access Manager. You will need to re-enter your Product Key details if you are using the Professional version.

On some occassions removing the configuration file does not completely fix the issue with Windows 10.

If doing this doesn't work for you then you will need to un-install Access Manager and reinstall the latest version from the website

In all cases this has corrected any problem with Access Manager running on Windows 10.

Access Manager will leave your password database on your PC so it can be used again when/if Access Manager is installed again but as a precaution you should backup your Password Database before doing the update.
