Been running AM2 forever and today received the error message upon starting AM2 "Padding is invalid and cannot be removed". Clicking OK ends AM2.
Tried restarting AM2, rebooting and restarting AM2, still same messsage.
Any suggestions?

You will need to delete the AccessManager.cfg and/or the AccessManager.config file. The file is located in one or more of the following folders:
Use Windows Explorer to search for and delete all copies of the configuration file and then try to start Access Manager again.
To view file extensions in Windows Explorer you can check the option under View tab called File name extensions.
If you are using the Professional version you will need to re-register your product key details after deleing the configuration file by clicking Tools then Register.
I'm having this exact problem and have tried the above solution. It does not work, or at least not when I long ago forgot my password. After deleting the config/cfg files.
I copied these two files to a USB drive. Went to my laptop and replaced all AccessManager.xdb and AccessManager.dbt files I could find. Mobile Truck Repair
